“Midweek”

Invite Night (1st Wednesday)

The night: This night is for everyone and is the perfect night to invite your friends! This is when we usually (though not always) kickoff a series. It’s when we make sure every person feels loved: the new person, the awkward kid, the I’m-to-cool-for-school kid, the atheist, the agnostics, the believers. You get the idea. It’s a night we reach out and intentionally welcome everyone in hopes of getting students connected to Jesus and community! ***We will continue this welcoming culture every week***.

Structure: This service looks like our Sunday morning service with some changes. There will be announcements, games, offering, small groups, worship, prayer time and a message on these nights. During your 15-20 minutes in small groups you will celebrate birthdays for the month and welcome any new guest. Attendance will be taken when students arrive.

SALT Night (2nd Wednesday)

The night: This night is all about small groups. SALT stands for serving and living together. It’s when we spend some time investing in each other’s through God’s Word, prayer, and learning how we can apply what we are studying to our everyday lives. It’s also a time where we take a step back and learn ways we can serve others throughout the week.

Structure: There will be announcements, games, offering, small groups, worship, prayer in groups and a 10-15 minute message on these nights. During your small groups you will welcome any new guest and have discussion and prayer. The leader will be given an ice breaker to use and a simple guide based off the night’s lesson to direct discussion. Attendance will be taken when students arrive.

Disciple Night (3rd Wednesday)

The night: This night is slightly different than the SALT nights. It’s a night to go deeper, challenge, and make disciples.

Structure: There will be announcements, games, offering, small groups, worship, prayer in groups and a 10-15 minute message on these nights. During your small groups you will welcome any new guest and go deeper into God’s Word, ask the hard questions for accountability and learns ways we can pray for each other. This is a night of challenge and accountability. The leader will come up with an ice breaker, activity of sorts, ask questions about the nights lesson with the intention of diving deeper. Attendance will be taken when students arrive.

Prayer Night (4th Wednesday)

The night: This night is different than all of the other nights. There will be a big emphasis on prayer regardless of the series we are in. We want to not only teach student show to pray but also how to pray for others.

Structure: There will be announcements, games, offering, worship, a 10-15 minute message and an extended prayer time of about 15-25 minutes on these nights. A leader will lead the large group in prayer challenging them to move out out their seats and pray. There will then be a time of gathering in groups of 2-3 to pray for each other. Each leader will move around praying with different groups of students throughout this small gatherings of prayer. Attendance will be taken when students arrive.

Family Night (5th Wednesday)

The night: This night is also different than all of the other nights in that it’s the night we invite the whole family to come to youth! That’s right: invite your mom, dad sister and brother and come for a night of fun, worship and hearing from God’s Word. Four times a year there are five Wednesdays in the month and this is a time where we invite parents to come see what’s going on at M2L Students and be a part of what God is doing on Wednesday nights! This is also the night we will have a parent meeting to talk about upcoming events, trips, etc…

***Parent meeting will take place right after the service ends at 8pm.***

Structure: This service looks like our Sunday morning service with some changes. There will be announcements, games, offering, a time of extended worship, prayer and a message on these nights. Attendance will be taken when students arrive.
